Inspired by the idea that it takes 10,000 hours to achieve greatness, each episode explores the personal journeys, struggles, and creative growth of artists shaping the sound and soul of their city.

The Creative’s Crown is a conversation series spotlighting the artists, innovators, and cultural leaders shaping the creative landscape in Charlotte and beyond. Each episode dives into the mindset, journey, and real-life experiences behind the building the scene from the ground up.

Charlotte rock group Secret Formula Band is a ferocious musical force. With bandmates drawn from across the South, the combo summons swampy Louisiana funk, soulful Memphis blues, rustic Alabama rock and evocative Carolinas storytelling to conjure gospel-charged tunes that can amble like a rolling river or rumble like a runaway locomotive.

Wish You Were Here is a new event series created from the city, for the city of Charlotte, NC. We are here to celebrate the incredible talent in our community, capturing this generation of the Queen City’s musical and creative legacy through our documentary films and electrifying live performances.

“Serve the Story” is an improvisational storytelling animation series created by DeAngelo Williams, Gary Barnidge, Thyme, and Nick Will.

Each episode begins with one participant launching the story in any direction they choose. After roughly two minutes of free-form storytelling, the narrative is passed to the next person, who continues building the world and characters in real time.

SKEPTIC follows Gary Barnidge, a hardened nonbeliever, as he creates a team of believers in pursuit of undeniable proof of the paranormal. From the sacred grounds of the Ura Shrine in Bristol, Tennessee, to the haunting Gothic sprawl of Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Louisville, Kentucky, to the infamous Bobby Mackey’s Music World in Wilder, Kentucky, rumored to be the most haunted honky-tonk in America, their mission is clear: capture evidence and convert a skeptic into a believer.

“On-Tape” is a series where we hang with artists and make a video that captures their vibe that day.
